Chaps, following the email I sent out in May seeking starters for the Reunion in November in Canberra, I thought that the lack of responses from two thirds of the addressees might indicate that there was not much interest. Be that as it may, Wal Hall and I have come up with a possible plan. I'll outline it here and request that you contact me by mid July with your comments and possible acceptance or not. I'd appreciate it those who have already replied either in the affirmative or negative would also respond to this email.
Wednesday 25 Nov 09 IDCC semi finals day an informal gathering at Rydges or somewhere else convenient
Thursday 26 Nov 09 IDCC Grand Final at Manuka Oval Lunch at Bradman Pavilion
(at Manuka)
Presentation dinner at ADFA
Friday 27 Nov 09 Lunch at Manuka RSL (it shares a fence line with the oval).
Later watch the T20 match
Even later mingle over a drink with T20 players and officials.
Dinner as a Chinese banquet at the Italian Club
(a short stroll from Rydges or the Oval).
Saturday 28 Nov 09 Dispersal under own arrangements.
The only functions we'll be "sharing" with the IDCC organisers are lunch and dinner on Thursday. The remainder will be ours alone. This is by no means set in concrete but something to play with.
